At a ceremony at Queen’s Park in Toronto on June 25, 2025, Anna Cuylits (centre) was among the recipients of the 2024 Ontario Senior Achievement Awards. The Honourable Raymond Cho, Minister of Seniors and Accessibility and Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario presented her with the award.

“Anna Cuylits is a passionate advocate for seniors in Ottawa. She co-founded Senior’s Watch Old Ottawa South (SWOOS) and the Seniors Health Innovation Hub (SHIH), working to improve primary care and support aging in place. As a board member of the Old Ottawa South Community Association, she championed age-friendly initiatives and intergenerational connections. Anna also led the creation of a community aging guide, supported seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic and collaborated on tech innovations for elder care. Her tireless efforts have made a lasting impact on Ottawa’s senior community.”
